Chiraq
In the shadow of Egypt’s mess, we have our own domestic issues. Here in America we have luxuries that Egyptians can only dream of. American’s have all the opportunity. Right? It’s the American dream. Right?
The irony of our esteemed standard of living is that our superior bell and whistles drown out our social issues. Sure these issues are addressed, just not at the root. In the mist of Chicago’s continual senseless violence, I can’t help but to consider if everyone accounted for their own child; our neighborhoods would be safe.
